Diverse learners will gain financial literacy by learning how to shop, spend, and manage money. During classroom social emotional sessions, students will be taught how to become self sufficient and in control of everyday spending. By gaining these skills, students can better manage their money, gain shopping knowledge, and self-esteem.
When you teach a child how to do for themselves, they gain confidence and self-sufficiency. We will help them learn how buy healthy groceries using monthly budgeting skills. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will help me purchase resources that will help my students learn about budgeting, and the imaginary grocery store will help my students practice how to manage everyday spending.
Students often don’t realize the cost of everyday living and this project will help them see the value of money and the impact it has on self-esteem.
