I am requesting magnets which will allow my students to first discover what it is when objects repel or attract. They will discover that not everything will attract to a magnet. Students will explore with a variety of items from around the classroom and will form ideas of what is required for a magnet to attract to an item. From there the learning blooms into discovering atoms and how they connect to magnets and energy. All of this learning will lead them to discover how magnets are used to create energy in our world.

About my class
