In my consumer math class, students are learning how to navigate the adult world including taking care of finances. My students are primarily juniors and seniors, meaning that they are already in the work force, or will be entering it soon.
In my class, students are using math in real world applications, but need help to accurately calculate finances.
Students will need their own pencil box containing pencils, pens, highlighters, and their own calculator. This allows each student to be responsible with their material while also being COVID friendly! We want students to be successfully as well as healthy and sanitary.
