Our school district was lucky enough to get funding to expand our three-year-old preschool programming this school year, and I am excited that I have the opportunity to help my students have an amazing start to their future schooling. I love working with preschoolers, especially because of how hands-on, interactive, and playful our school day is since that is how children at this age learn! Because the program is expanding, though, I likely will not have many materials to start the year with. I'm hoping through this project to be able to purchase math manipulatives, fine motor and sensory tools, and hands-on dramatic play items. Light Table manipulatives, sorting bears color, color mixing tubes, scooping and sorting games, a mystery what is it box, a train set, a pretend vet kit, kinetic standard, and a tactile car racing ramp will help give my students the rich hands on learning experiences that preschoolers deserve, and the pillows and visual schedule chart will help us set up what warm and inviting classroom environment.
