My students will have the chance to "check out" books from our classroom library and read them at school, at home, or wherever they please! I want our classroom library to have books with characters my students can relate to. It has been difficult finding books with characters of color, specifically from the LatinX community, and this is the perfect opportunity! I know that my students will appreciate a full classroom library for them to choose from, since our school does not have a library. This will motivate the students to read as much as they can with books they are actually interested in!
