Nurses are some of the MOST ESSENTIAL WORKERS EVER! We sometimes get pushed around into overly crowded room, rooms with no windows, and no filtered air. Assuring that every child who comes into the room is treated safely is my goal.
With that being said, knowing that Covid19 is alive and rampant increases the risk of exposure to the students that are not sick.
In a perfect world, my office would have purified air to stop the spread of germs.
When you consider that some students hurt their ankle at recess, need medication, or get sick at lunch. The nurse's station should be a safe haven for all students, and purifiers will definitely help all students feel better soon.
