Last year due to lack of equipment my student athletes did not get very many opportunities to practice throwing the shot put and discus. Although we did not have an actual discus/shot put rink my throwers worked their tails off and were still able to garner points and help lead the track team to the All City championship in OKC. This year if my project is fully funded we should be able to increase the amount of reps every athlete receives. If this project is funded My students should be able to learn the sport and fall in love with sports.
