It is my hope to have a weekly cooking class in the 1st grade classroom. We will wash, chop and prepare vegetables for salad in the warm months, and soup in the cooler months.
By working together to create a delicious and nutritious meal, students will build strong bonds with their classmates and with healthy foods!
The requested materials will be used each week to prepare, serve and enjoy meals throughout the school year. I have chosen tools that will safely teach knife skills and build students' confidence in the kitchen!
