I'm a first year teacher in the public school. I am requesting a carpet, tempera paint, dot painters, craft trays and more. These materials will allow me to be more creative while working with my sweet children. My students learn best through their sensory experiences at this age. We can use the paint to talk about colors and mushy materials to expose them to different textures. The rug will go into our library area to make it feel more homey plus the sensory supplies will help students to focus better while teaching them in small groups. It takes a village and this would truly help support my classroom and all the students will benefit.
