The PE equipment in this project will help our learners develop the motor skills and coordination needed in play and in activities of daily living. It will also play a part in helping develop good sportsmanship when playing team sports. This year, I hold the intention to get our learners moving more and challenging them with fun activities post-pandemic. I will work hard to make sure that PE is a place where students get their hearts healthy and learn how to play with each other and challenge their bodies to be stronger and healthier each day. With this equipment, I can design lessons in PE that allow for diverse and engaging physical activities such as football, soccer, and volleyball.
These activities are both fun and impactful for our learners. The PE closet was pretty much empty when I arrived in August, and without this equipment, my students will be limited in their ability to get fit, active, and healthy! This equipment will greatly help our students training in PE classes and during the seasons and off-seasons of their chosen sport. It will also help build confidence and the positive self-esteem that they need.
