After a year of online and hybrid learning, it is more important than ever that my children each have a copy of a great novel to read. This project will allow all of my students to hold this book as we do an author study on a North Carolina author, Barbara O'Conner. I want each of my kids to learn to love to read, and finding great books is the first step in that. To watch kids lean in with wide eyes as you wrap up a chapter, then beg to continue reading when they are left on a cliffhanger is priceless. Your donation will help me instill a love of reading to some pretty amazing kids.
