32 sweet little faces walk through my classroom door Monday-Friday. Half of my classroom population has a diagnosed disability and the other half of my classroom population are typically developing peers. These sweet kiddos are like sponges at this age and we are constantly focusing on social-emotional development, cognitive development, language and literacy development, and physical well-being and motor development.
Differentiation is a huge part of our classroom. Students come to us ranging in age from 3-5 year olds. It is my job to make sure that I am meeting children where they are and helping them grow and make progress across all learning domains and meeting each and every one of their needs. I am a firm believer that preschool teachers help set the foundation and help to instill the love of learning at a young age.
