Students need to be excited about writing! My main focus is to get my students motivated with fun and exciting materials that they will be excited to use. My students will be writing their own books to introduce themselves and build relationships with each other at the beginning of the school year.
Help me mold and shape the future authors of America! These book making supplies will help my students create their own books to share their experiences with others through writing.
These supplies will nurture their creativity and make them life long learners and lovers of writing! There is no doubt that the future authors/illustrator of America are in my classroom!
The supplies I am requesting will help with a year-long project of students becoming "published" authors. They will have a way to organize their drafts with the paper organizer. From there they will be able to assemble actual books with their writing using the hole punch, book tape, colored pencils, etc. Finally they will be able to "publish" and display their work on hooks to create a class library with engaging and meaningful texts written by their peers.
