As a class students will learn the process of growing vegetables from farm to fork. Each student will plant vegetable seeds and watch them grow in the greenhouse each day. They will record the plant's progress each day in the composition notebooks. Once the plants are ready to harvest, students will make posters to let community members know they are invited to come to the Farmers Market where they will be able to get vegetables to feed their families. We will also have a lesson on how to prepare different vegetables that they have grown throughout this unit.
