A functional, well-stocked makerspace will provide students with a creative outlet in a supportive atmosphere. Students who visit the library media center will not only have access to books and resources, but they will also engage in guided and independent projects like STEM challenges, crafts, and literacy projects. Having choices empowers them to take ownership of their learning and build the confidence needed to take academic risks.
