As a first year teacher I find myself in a unique situation where I teach Biology in two different classrooms, a floor apart in the building. As a "floating" teacher I do not have a classroom of my own and share with other faculty, hence the need for a cart to transport the materials my students will need each day. the cart would also aid the class tremendous in that one of the classrooms we use is not fit for science- there are no sinks nor water. Meaning, my students and I will be traveling across the hall to collect and transport water from the bathroom back to class for labs, and back to the bathroom to dispose used water. In addition, bins and cleaning materials will be needed for the washing of shared classroom sets of goggles/ protective eye-ware and other lab materials (i.e. glassware). This is just as important as having students wash their hands frequently during this pandemic, hence the added hand sanitizers and hand soaps.
Thank you for reading. Cheers!
