My students have special needs and they learn best by playing and participating in engaging activities. They are learning phonics, reading, and math in a class with a mix of K-2 grades. These supplies will enable them to have choices and a variety of learning opportunities. It will spark their imagination and creativity so that learning becomes a lifelong habit. My students will be able to experience success in an area where learning has been challenging.
Through these supplies and activities, they can improve their academic skills in reading, speaking, writing, and math; and their social and behavioral skills. When students struggle in school, having choices or different modes of learning will increase their desire to learn and love school.
