Our students with dyslexia can improve their reading and writing skills by using a multisensory approach, which means engaging all of their senses.
Sometimes, our students experience hesitation and frustration when writing using the traditional method of paper and pencil all the time.
However, they need plenty of opportunities to practice. In order to make it more fun and engaging, the media used to practice writing and spelling skills can make a difference.
The items such as doodle boards, whiteboards, and pop-it with the alphabet give variance and allow them to reinforce and practice spelling skills. The pencil grips also help our students that might have an awkward pencil grip to learn how to properly hold it. Last, the mini dry erase erasers would be so helpful so that each student has one and is easily able to correct their work.
All of these tools would greatly help our students with dyslexia!
