With Magna Tiles added to our discovery center students will be able to learn by playing important life skills. With Magna Tiles we can combine art, science, and math while building together or independently. Learning while building with magna tiles can look like these skills: Gravity/Force- how high and heavy can you build? Persistence and Engagement- Trying to build something doesn't always work out the first time, and when that happens students develop grit by trying again. Geometry- Shapes Art- Building with color and shape, making designs and patterns. There are many different possibilities which makes Magna Tiles a great beneficial material for the classroom.
