These requested manipulatives are needed to strengthen my students math skills and to give them a way to get hands-on and to promote a better understanding of math. I hope to also show how math can be fun through using different types of materials. "These different materials and manipulatives will be used in daily centers." Again as a teacher, I want to be creative and think of different ways to keep my students engaged in learning especially in math. Giving them the opportunity to figure out how to solve a problem using their hands or different materials are a plus for my students in order to keep them engage and to learn.
