With this gift students will be able to explore math outside of the textbook. With students coming from the inner city they need to see real world examples and many times our math books don not give us any. My students always ask "Why do I need to know this" so by being able to purchase real-world activities from teachers pay teachers I will be able to show they how and when they will use the math.
