These materials will help my students make more meaningful connections to phonics instruction. I am focused on closing the achievement gap that exists within socioeconomically disadvantaged youth and it begins with reading. I want all my students to receive fun and interactive ways to practice the skills we are learning in class.
These materials provide new and exciting ways to read independently during our centers and rotations portion of the day. Students need to be challenged and they currently struggle with vowel digraphs so I feel the materials will be put to use daily.
