The educational games that I chose are for both math and reading. After teaching the concepts, the students will engage in these awesome hands-on activities. Engaging in these activities will help in clarifying the concept taught, cementing the concept as well as a form of assessment to determine how much learning has taken place. In addition, this will help me in evaluating myself and my delivery method and also help in making a decision if the concept needs to be retaught or if a student needs more practice in a particular area.
The seating squares that I requested can be used in a variety of ways to foster learning while my students are seated comfortably. These animal squares can be used to encourage and develop my students’ speaking skills where they can share information about the animal on the square they choose, teaching alphabetical order, animal sounds, rhyming words among others.
