Here, find out what my students have said about snacks in the classroom helping their learning:
Owen H.: We need this to work harder to play harder. It refocus my brain into learning. If I have bars/snacks in the classroom, it makes it easier to learn because then i don't think about food and im focused on work instead. When i have food cause im working so hard it makes me work harder for something that i love and i love those things. Sometimes i don't eat breakfast at home so i eat a bar and then i work and now i have food in my system and now i work. When i work so hard on a project i get hungry and im not focus as soon as i get energy i work harder and harder.
Llesica J: Hi my name is Llesica. When I get hungry I go into Ms. Bogart's room and I ask her for a snack but we don't always have snacks because Ms.Bogart can always get us some. Having a snack can help students stay more focus and it can also help students be more involved with the class. When we students are hungry we don't really want to be involved because all we think about is food and our stomachs being empty. Granola bars can help the students a lot because they will give the student of type of energy they need for a period of time. It can also help the development of our bodies. We are still young and we can't last long without eating because we are still growing.
