Students will be able to learn how to play the ukulele in class and also perform on their instrument at concerts. During class students will have their own instrument to practice and perform chords in the songs we are learning. They will be able to learn the basics for not only the ukulele, but other string instruments as well. By raising the funds for ukulele's in my classroom, students will also be able to follow along with chord charts and uke tabs while they are playing their instruments in class. This will also give them the foundation to continue to play string instruments outside of the classroom and help me achieve my goal of life-long musicking for my students.
