An easel would be very beneficial to all of my students. I have many diverse learners that have trouble viewing my anchor charts. An easel would allow me to roll the anchor charts to them, allowing each of them to view it. This easel would also allow my students to write on it! I have always wanted a way for my students to contribute to our anchor charts! It would be an excellent way for them to be able to learn from their own writing! I would absolutely adore being able to see my own students' learning on our class anchor charts! Not only will they learn from their contributions, but their peers will learn also! Currently, for my students to write on our anchor charts, I have to lay the anchor charts on the floor.
Some of my students do not feel comfortable getting down on the floor in front of their classmates. They would feel much more comfortable walking to a board and writing. I know that this easel would reach all of my various types of learners for many years to come! The easel would be so beneficial to not only me, but all 21 of my kindergarten students this year!
