As a first year classroom teacher, there are a lot of things my classroom is missing. I want to create a safe, welcoming space for them to learn in! Choice in everyday decisions is so empowering to my young learners. Even if it’s something as simple as choosing where they sit. I would love to give them plenty of fun options to choose from! I have seen the benefits of flexible seating first hand in my student teaching experience. It was during that time that I saw how valuable it truly was. I want to help create independent decision makers.

About my class
