The students at J. T. Canales elementary are eager to come into the library for an opportunity to work and play in the Maker Space area. Our students are living in one of the most income challenged areas of the poorest community in the country. They do not have access to instructional materials, such as LEGOs, in their home environment. To be able to access a wide variety of LEGO building materials would be a wonderful opportunity for our students.
