Some of my students do not have access to books in their home. Therefore, I want to be able to provide them with diverse and enriching stories. All these books will be used to help my students learn to read through guided reading, reading independently and the opportunity to take them home to read with their family. I also want to promote a love of reading in my classroom. Funding this project will help ensure my first graders have a classroom library for this school year and many years to come.
