Reading can awaken a student's imagination. Students will use these texts to explore and begin using their new reading skills. We have times throughout our day to listen to read alouds, explore books and practice using our new reading skills.
A book is a gift you can open again and again! So whether browsing and looking at pictures, buddy reading or beginning the hard work of beginning to read, students will have access to these books as a tool. Students need a variety of reading materials and texts that they can access and that meet their interests in order to feel successful.
