This rug is going to help my students have a comfortable designated area during our circle time and small group. We will be doing storytime, interactive lessons, shared reading, and small groups.
My kindergarten students will benefit from the rug by having an inviting place to sit while learning.
We will be learning our numbers and working a lot with manipulatives on the rug. During our small groups/stations, the students will be using the rug while using the interactive smartboard for matching numbers to sets. The students will also have an interactive story read to them during these small groups/stations. Students will be able to manipulate the words on the smartboard after the story is completed.
