The items in my project will help students learn with engaging hands on materials. With this project students will be able to practice letter writing with markers and make letters with Alphabet Dough Mats. At such a young age my students learn through play and these items create a sense of play and exploration while my students are learning. A new standard my school is focusing on this year is my kindergarteners reading number words. By putting that to practice with the game I selected, they will get continued practice of this skill. Letter identification and sounds are so important for my students and the materials I selected will help my students understand these important concepts.
