Scholastic News provides each student with a hand on magazine, printable activities and online reading/exploring that supports early learners' curiosity and supports beginner readers with engaging science and social studies text. Using Scholastic News, I plan on developing themes to support our class and bring learning to real life situations. I will extend the themes across the curriculum to include, reading, writing, drawing, listening and speaking and math. Having a monthly subscription will allow the students to have one magazine a week with many activities that inspire creativity and learning.

About my class
