These products will provide my students with hands on activities that support their growth and education. In the classroom they have centers they go to independently to practice the skill being taught and these products help them to do just that. The hands on language tools will be used at these centers as well as small group.
The math supplies are vital for the understanding of basic math skills. Math is a skill that is built upon previous skills and knowledge. These supplies will ensure that my students are building a strong foundation in math. I will use the magnetic number chart everyday during calendar. Once the students understand the concept they too will use it everyday. The number lines and magnetic base ten set will be used during whole group as well as small groups.
The centers in our room now have been created by me using household items. Although I am very creative, these new products would support my students' ability to be in charge of their learning and expand the activities available in my classroom.
