Having a class set of the book Wonder will provide my students with the ability to read it as a class instead of only listening to a read-aloud or me sharing the book on the screen for students to participate.
The book Wonder offers a message to my students that their uniqueness and differences should be embraced. Also, I want my students to understand that everyone has something that makes them unique or different and they should be praised for that rather than put down.
This project is for students to engage in social-emotional learning as well as to expose them to grade-level reading before moving into 7th grade!
