Since the pandemic, the classroom setting has been altered dramatically. No longer able to accommodate large groups, students now have to eat lunch in the classroom as opposed to the cafeteria. Lunchtime used to be a fun and relaxing time for students to engage with their friends while enjoying a tasty meal. Lunch in the classroom is not as exciting. Students have to sit in the same desks in the same environment for hours on end.
With the Big Joe bean bag chairs, at least they'll have an opportunity to sit in comfy chairs while eating and playing games with their friends. The LED lights create a relaxing environment for students to decompress before continuing on with their school day. The mini-fridge and microwave will allow students who bring their lunch to store food and heat up their yummy leftovers right here in the classroom. The Instax camera and film will capture young scientists in the making. Using our Scientists in the Making Board, we will be able to post photos of students engaging in classroom lab activities, and maybe throw in some cute lunchtime pics as well!
