I would like to have a large rug for my students to come to for our Morning Meetings and check-ins. This will allow for my students to create a connection with one another by being able to see each of their classmates while we are having our Morning Meetings. Morning Meetings are the time where the whole class is able to get together and check-in with one another to see how everyone is doing. Our rug will also be used as a place for my students to go to during stations as a reading area or a work area. The students love being able to leave their desks and work on the carpet with their lap desks.
