These books will allow my 4th and 5th grade students to explore important topics such as being aware of other people's stories. My goal is to foster a love for reading. and by doing so, empower young minds. When students are able to relate to characters in a story, it makes the story more powerful. Not only will these books help my students become more fluent readers, they will also help them relate to the stories of others. The book "Sylvia and Aki" will help students understand the challenges faced by two young girls and "Just like Jackie" will allow students to explore acceptance and the meaning of family. Please consider helping my students explore diverse stories that represent students from my classroom.

About my class
