Please help bring composting to my students! This project is going to be a yearlong (and hopefully lifelong) project that my students will participate in. Composting is a great habit for students to get into and will help them understand which materials can and cannot be decomposed. We study producers, consumers, and decomposers in fifth grade! What better way to get a hands-on experience of items decomposing before your eyes?! I hope this project will encourage students to be good stewards of our natural resources, and to be conscientious of the materials we use each day.
