Thank you in advance for your support. My students are almost 80% economically disadvantaged. I have a passion for teaching career preparation classes and am currently teaching Floral design as an art credit. Floral students will have the opportunity to create living arrangements and be evaluated for an industry based certification resulting in Floral Designer Level 1, through TSFA. I also teach students about animal welfare and husbandry. With a number of these tools, we will the able to conduct hands-on labs that will help them become better prepared for taking care of our campus doggie daycare program. Students in Veterinary Medical Applications will be qualified at the end of the year to be evaluated in hopes of earning a certification, Certified Veterinarty Assistant Level 1. My hope is that they will be able to obtain jobs in these fields and support their families.
