These books will allow my students to collaborate with their peers and have meaningful conversations about books in an engaging way. I will use these books to set up book club groups where we can relate our conversation back to the standards they will be studying during whole-group reading.
Students will journal about what they have read and learn to make insightful reflections and make meaningful connections to the text. The students will make questions for their group members to discuss during book club and learn how to relate to others through books and conversation!
