Being able to teach ukulele to my classes would be such an incredible experience. Ukulele would be a new, exciting instrument for my students to learn! We do not have a string program at our school, so this may be the only opportunity these kids will ever have to try a stringed instrument.
Learning ukulele combines so many musical skills! Students will practice rhythm, beat, music reading skills, singing and musicianship all at the same time.
Ukulele is such a cool instrument too- unique sound and perfectly child sized! What a fun way to put all of their hard work into practice!
