These materials will help my students relate to the characters in the book through real-world connections. My students will be able to obtain the necessary reading comprehension skills because they can actually relate to the topics in the book. My students do come from a Title 1 community. What is so unique about my students is that they attend a dual language school in which means they learn subjects in different languages. I enjoy working with my students because they are very respectful and have a unique sense of responsibility when it comes to their education.
