Students routinely use task cards during center rotation and small group time in both Math and Literacy. Card stock will be used to create these materials. Students will be able to write on cards with the Expo markers, and cards can then be wiped off and sanitized for the next student or group.
Engaging and durable student materials are a necessity!
Also, students will have the opportunity to laminate book and journal covers, etc. as writing is a focus for us this year. This will increase student ownership in their work.
