All of the materials I am requesting already have place in my classroom. I have created a "Stem" corner in my classroom and in need of many things that I just cannot purchase on my own. The microscopes, electrical circuits and magnets are going to be great additions to our science curriculum. I have never had any of these items to help enhance student learning. I've shown pictures and examples of these things, but there's just something that about hands on learning.
The hands-on learning benefits that students experience in the classroom helps children of all ages retain knowledge and grow .
Along with the hands on learning portion of my project, I have also requested a TPT gift card. This will help me purchase supplemental materials that will help update our current old science curriculum. There are so many updated and engaging resources for students that I want to give them as much as possible. We recently obtained enough chromebooks for each student so the power strips will be used to charge student chrome books. Many students forget to charge their chrome books at home or they just don't want to take it home because they're worried something it will happen to their device.
We will use these materials to help us in the process of becoming lovers of science and stem. In conclusion, preparing today’s children to become the innovators and inventors of tomorrow begins with STEM education programs.
