My students love anything with food! I cannot think of a better way to get them excited about learning about literacy than with cooking in the classroom! We will create simple treats that are inspired by our favorite books. We will also be able to apply math, writing, speaking, listening, and life skills into each cooking lesson. Having a classroom kitchen is the perfect way to spark their creative minds and get them involved in their learning! Cooking in the classroom will give them wonderful memories and skills that will last a lifetime.
