I am creating a book nook in my classroom with comfortable seating. I want to offer my students multicultural books to enjoy during their free reading time. Creating a comfortable and inviting space is the key to increasing their love of reading! I will have a checkout system so that students can take a book home over the weekend. There is nothing I love better than to curl up with a good book! I know these students having taught them last year, and have seen an increase in the amount of time they choose to read when given the option and relatable reading materials!
