Middle school is a very difficult time in our students lives - their bodies are changing daily, their peer groups begin to change, they are constantly faced with difficult situations and don't know how to act or react - it's a lot to deal with. Now throw in a global pandemic and their lives are even more confusing. Our goal with this project is to transform our school into a place of positivity, kindness and support. We want to create positive affirmations using the Cricut and hang these all over the school campus - bathrooms, hallways, stairwells, locker rooms, cafeteria, etc.
We could all use a bit more positivity in our lives - how great would it be to be able to read a positive affirmation every time you walked up the stairs or came in off the bus? Imagine walking in and seeing a huge "YOU matter" every day ... how great would that make you feel?
