These seat pockets will allow students to keep their books and materials at their seats without cluttering their workstations. Students currently sit 4 to a table with table shields, there is very limited room on the table and around the classroom. This will allow us to transition smoothly from one subject or project to another without students leaving their seats. Students will be able to focus more on the assignments at hand without cutting work time short to get the materials they would need to begin on the next subject. This will also allow students to gain independence by being able to be in charge of keeping their work areas clean and organized.
