Comfortable seating in a social work office makes a world of difference to those students who are there to learn ways to express and cope with their emotions. Students sit at desks and chairs most of the school day, so while they are in the social work office, they should not feel like they are in yet another classroom. When students are comfortable, they are noticeably more willing to open up and work on the areas that need improvement and are more receptive to learning and developing the skills that will benefit them for years to come.
